Per usual our July and August monthly meetings will be cancelled, Happy Summer Everyone! The June meeting is still as per usual.

Our new Collective agreement is available online for download and new books will be available as soon as they arrive from the printers!

Ratification of the new contract will take place in Kenora and Red Lake on December 8th at 1pm, 3pm and 7pm

Dates have been set for Negotiations and proposals will be reviewed with the membership at the annual dinner meetings.

The annual dinner meetings will be October 25th in Kenora at the Travelodge and October 27th in Red Lake, meeting time is 5pm and dinner at 6pm.

Reminder that nominations for all executive and steward positions will take place at the next monthly meeting.

This is for all members seeking nomination for either the steward or negotiating committee member position. If you are unable to attend the next meeting (October 27th) please give a signed letter of intent to someone who is attending the meeting or a member of the executive stating you will accept the nomination to the position.

We will be continuing with nominations and the election of a new steward for the PSW’s in Kenora at our next monthly meeting.

We will be reopening nominations and electing a new member to the negotiating committee to represent the community support department at our next regular monthly meeting.

The annual dinner meetings will be August 20th in Red Lake and September 29th in Kenora
